I can’t tell you why I believe in God. I always have. And to me it seems impossible that He couldn’t exist.

Does that mean I’m always pleased with Him and what life hands me?

Not at all.

Honestly, knowing that I’m made in the image of God gives me confidence. I’m not a waste. I’m not an accident. There is a universe of knowledge to explore and enjoy, and He has given all that to me and to you.

Sure, life isn’t perfect. But one day it will be. All the scales will be balanced. All the fines will be paid. Until then, we enjoy common graces such as sunlight on our skins, money in our wallets, and the pleasures of life for a season.

What we do with that time is our ultimate opportunity.
