…life figured out. Their hair is in place. The home is perfect. The wrinkles of life are ironed out. Called people are extraordinary, but my life isn’t anything like that. I am ordinary. My life is messy. Full of spilled milk. Unplanned. Imperfect. Uncalled.
The person who has it all together is an illusion. Sure, we’re all called to something — to use our gifts the best we can to serve people who need them.
Our messed up hair, homes, and lives are what add flavor to what we offer.
Embrace it. Live it out in all your tattered glory. God will use you, warts and all. After all, didn’t he use a stammering, reluctant hero like Moses?
